General Terms and Conditions of Sale
How to Book
Please submit your booking request online using the availability calendars.
How to Pay
Follow the instructions provided in your online booking file.
Important: Your reservation becomes guaranteed and confirmed once payment has been received.

1. PAYMENT TERMS
If your reservation is made more than 30 days before arrival:
The reservation becomes effective once the guest sends a deposit of 50% of the total stay price to Silex.
Prices are all taxes included except the tourist tax.
For exclusive privatization of the property, the full amount must be paid at the time of booking.
The remaining balance must be paid 30 days before arrival. You will receive a reminder by email, letter or phone call.
No booking fees apply.
Once payment is received within 7 days following your request, your reservation will be firmly confirmed.
Please keep your invoice/quotation and present it upon arrival.
Important:
Your booking option may be cancelled if payment is not received within the 7-day option period.
Any additional services or consumption not included in this contract must be paid at the end of the stay at Silex.
2. ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS
• Bank transfer (except Switzerland)
• French bank or postal check payable to Le Silex
• Credit card (VISA or MASTERCARD)
• Holiday vouchers (Chèques Vacances)
3. CAPACITY
The number of guests indicated for each accommodation represents the maximum occupancy allowed, according to available equipment and for safety and insurance reasons.
This capacity cannot be exceeded.
4. MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER
All cancellations must be notified by letter or email addressed to Silex.
If the cancellation occurs before the stay, the deposit remains retained by Silex.
If cancellation occurs less than 7 days before arrival, the deposit remains retained and Silex reserves the right to keep the full amount of the stay.
If the guest does not arrive before 7:00 PM on the arrival day, the contract becomes void and Silex may reassign the accommodation. The full stay amount remains due.
In the event of a shortened stay, the full accommodation price remains due.
Any modification in number of guests or family composition must be validated by Silex at least 2 days before arrival and may lead to additional charges.
We recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance.
If your stay was paid with MasterCard Gold or Visa Premier, you may benefit from automatic cancellation insurance (depending on the reason for cancellation – check with your bank).
Note:
The right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation services under Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.
4.1 CANCELLATION BY SILEX
In case of severe weather alerts ("orange alert") or exceptional external events beyond our control such as storms or severe weather, management reserves the right to cancel the stay for safety reasons.
In this case, we will offer rescheduling within 12 months.
If rescheduling is impossible, all payments will be refunded, without further compensation.
If Silex cancels a stay before its start, the customer will be informed by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt.
All amounts paid will be immediately refunded, and compensation equal to the penalty that the customer would have paid will be granted.
4.2 GIFT VOUCHERS
Valid during our opening season, from the first weekend of April to the last weekend of September, subject to availability.
The stay must be used within 12 calendar months from the purchase date.
5. DURATION OF STAY
The guest signing the contract cannot claim any right to remain on the premises beyond the agreed stay duration.
6. RATES
Prices displayed on our website or brochures may be modified due to economic conditions or regulatory changes.
All prices are tax included.
Only the price indicated in your confirmation document is binding.
7. CHILDREN
Silex does not accept children under 14 years old, who are considered adults above this age.
8. PETS
Pets are not allowed at Silex.
9. VALUABLE ITEMS
Guests are advised not to leave valuables inside accommodations and to lock doors during their absence.
10. ARRIVAL – DEPARTURE
Guests must arrive between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
In case of late arrival, guests must inform Silex. We will wait until 8:00 PM.
No arrival is possible after 8:00 PM.
On the day of departure, accommodations must be vacated before 12:00 PM.
Guests are asked to leave the accommodation in a clean condition and return equipment to its designated location.
Please proceed to reception for departure formalities.
11. HOUSE RULES
Guests must comply with the internal regulations of Silex.
In case of non-compliance, Silex reserves the right to expel guests without refund.
12. COMPLAINTS – MEDIATION
Any complaint regarding a stay must be sent by registered letter within 30 days after the stay to:

According to Article L612-1 of the Consumer Code, customers may use a consumer mediator free of charge to resolve disputes.

Practical Information
A parking area is available for guests.
To help us improve our services, a quality questionnaire may be offered after your stay so you can share your feedback and suggestions.
Appendix – House Rules
Opening Hours
Breakfast is served from 8:30 AM.
Dinner is served from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
There is no night guard on site.
No arrivals are possible after 8:00 PM.
Strictly Forbidden
• Smoking inside buildings
• Climbing on barriers or railings
• Damaging structures, fences or signs
Mandatory Rules
Guests must follow all instructions given by staff.
Children must always be supervised by their parents, including in play areas.
All warning, prohibition or information signs must be respected.
Guests must respect plants, cleanliness, irrigation systems and outdoor lighting.
Picnics are allowed only on the beach area, not inside accommodations.
River Access
Access to the river is under the responsibility of each guest.
For children, the responsibility lies with their parents.
Swimming is unsupervised and may be prohibited. Guests swim at their own risk.
Liability
Silex declines responsibility for theft or loss of personal belongings.
We also decline responsibility for damage to clothing due to the natural environment or weather conditions.
Any violation of these rules may result in expulsion from the property.
