Please contact us if you experience any difficulties with the online booking, especially for the long weekends in May, including Ascension Day and Pentecost.

During the months of July and August, a minimum stay of two consecutive nights is required.

Please note: Our hotel is not recommended for guests with reduced mobility.

Our hotel does not accept groups, seminars, bachelor or bachelorette parties, or family gatherings.
This rule also applies even if reservations are made under different names. It is part of our General Terms and Conditions of Sale and our house rules.

How to Pay

Follow the instructions provided in your online booking file.

Important: Your reservation becomes guaranteed and confirmed once we receive your payment.

1. PAYMENTS

If your reservation is made more than 7 days before arrival

The reservation option becomes effective once the guest sends the Prehistoric Lodge a deposit of 50% of the total stay amount.

Prices include all taxes except the tourist tax.

Important: your reservation option may be cancelled in case of late payment, as the reservation option is valid for 7 days only.


If your reservation is made within 7 days before arrival

A payment of 100% of the stay will be required.

Upon receipt of the payment, your reservation will be firmly confirmed.

Please keep your invoice/quotation and present it upon arrival.

Any additional services or consumption not mentioned in this contract will be payable at the end of your stay at the Lodge du Pont d’Arc.


2. ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS

• Bank transfer (except Switzerland)
• Bank or postal cheque payable to Lodge du Pont d’Arc (French accounts only)
• Credit card (Visa and MasterCard)
• Holiday vouchers (Chèques Vacances)


3. CAPACITY


The number of persons indicated per accommodation in our rates corresponds to the maximum occupancy allowed according to available equipment.

This number cannot be exceeded for safety and insurance reasons.


4. MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER BEFORE ARRIVAL

All cancellations must be notified by letter or email to the Lodge du Pont d’Arc.

a) If cancellation occurs before the beginning of the stay, the deposit remains retained by the Lodge du Pont d’Arc.

If cancellation occurs less than 7 days before arrival, the Lodge du Pont d’Arc reserves the right to retain the full balance of the stay.

b) If the guest does not arrive before 7:00 PM on the scheduled arrival day, the contract becomes void and the Lodge du Pont d’Arc may dispose of the accommodation.

The full amount of the stay remains due.

c) In case of early departure, the total price of the stay remains payable.

Any modification regarding number of guests or family composition must be approved at least 2 days before arrival and may result in additional charges.


Cancellation Insurance

We recommend subscribing to cancellation insurance.

• Up to 7 days before arrival: 100% refund (including deposit)
6th and 5th day before arrival: 50% refund
No cancellation possible within 4 days before arrival

(except specific provisions from your own insurance).


According to Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation services.


4.1 CANCELLATION BY THE LODGE DU PONT D’ARC

In case of orange weather alert or external events beyond our control such as storms or severe weather, management may cancel the stay for safety reasons.

In this case:

• The stay may be postponed within 12 months
• If postponement is impossible, all payments will be refunded
No additional compensation will be granted

If the Lodge cancels the stay before its start, the customer will be informed by registered letter or telegram and all payments will be refunded immediately.


4.2 GIFT VOUCHERS AND GIFT CARDS

Valid during our opening season: from the first weekend of April to the last weekend of September, subject to availability.

The stay must be used within 12 months from the purchase date.


5. LENGTH OF STAY

The client signing this contract for a fixed duration stay cannot claim any right to remain on the premises after the end of the stay.


6. RATES

Prices listed on our website or brochures may change depending on economic conditions or regulations.

All prices are taxes included.

Only the price stated on your confirmation document is binding.


7. CHILDREN

Children’s age is calculated according to their birth date and the start date of the stay.

An official document proving the child’s age may be requested.


8. PETS

Pets are allowed in our accommodations.

A check will be carried out at departure and compensation may be requested in case of damage.

Pets are not allowed to sleep on the beds.


9. VALUABLE ITEMS

Guests are advised not to leave valuables in the accommodations and to lock doors during their absence.


10. ARRIVAL – DEPARTURE

Check-in: from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM

In case of late arrival, please inform the Lodge or the Silex.

We can wait until 8:00 PM maximum.

No arrival possible after 8:00 PM.

Departure day: accommodations must be vacated before 11:00 AM.

Guests are asked to leave the accommodation clean and return equipment to the indicated place.


11. HOUSE RULES

Guests must comply with the rules and instructions given by the Lodge du Pont d’Arc.

Failure to comply may result in expulsion from the property without refund.


12. COMPLAINTS – MEDIATION

Any complaint must be sent by registered letter within 30 days after the stay to:

Consumer Mediation

According to Article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code, customers have the right to use consumer mediation free of charge to resolve disputes.

Practical Information

A parking area is available.

Vehicles are not allowed to access the accommodations, but a quad may assist with luggage transport.

A guestbook is available in each accommodation.

A quality questionnaire may also be offered to help us improve our service.


ANNEX – HOUSE RULES

Opening period

The Lodge du Pont d’Arc is open from April beginings to ending September.

Breakfast: from 8:30 AM
Dinner: from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM (last arrival at table)

The hotel does not have a night watchman.
No arrival possible after 10:00 PM.


Strictly prohibited

• Smoking inside buildings
• Climbing on fences or railings
• Damaging constructions, fences, or signs


Guests must

• Follow all staff instructions
Supervise children at all times, including playground areas
• Respect signs, warnings, and instructions
• Respect plants and cleanliness of the hotel
• Do not touch automatic irrigation systems or outdoor lighting

Picnics are only allowed on the beach, not in the accommodations.


River Access

Access to the river is at your own responsibility, and for children under the responsibility of their parents.

Swimming is unsupervised and may be prohibited. It is done at guests’ own risk.


Liability

The hotel declines any responsibility for:

Loss or theft of personal belongings
Damage to clothing due to site conditions or weather


Groups

We do not accept groups (seminars, bachelor/bachelorette parties, family gatherings).

This rule applies even with multiple bookings under different names.


Sanctions

Any violation of these rules may result in expulsion from the hotel without refund.
